The road less traveled

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

Love Story

I can't make you love me...
But I want to....

The ending is but the beginning.

Just one of those nights..

And the cat howled and the dog meowed. That's how we all feel tonight. Sleep

Mercy Triumphs over Judgement

I was looking for excuses
And you offered me my soul
In the name of all my weakness
In the name of rock ‘n roll
By His sickness I am healed
Cause they broke you I am whole
Oh the wonderful blood of Jesus
I went looking for the fig leaves
And you asked me what they’re for
I was building up a wall
And you offered me a door
I was hoping for silver spoons
But you handed me a sword
Oh the wonderful blood of Jesus
Maker is unmade
Love succumbs to hate
Life Himself is slain
Is death the only way?
Is death the only way?
I went looking for religion
Absolutely not a friend
I went looking for ways out
And you showed me the way in
I went looking for a ghost
And instead I found a man
Oh the wonderful blood of Jesus
Felt like I was at the end
Felt like giving up on life
I talked about your mother
And denied you once or twice
Yeah I plucked out your beard
Put a sword into your side
Oh the wonderful of Jesus
Life and love are torn
By the blades of earthly swords
We cut the final cord
This is mercy’s war
It’s mercy’s war
I was just chasing after safety
When my world went up in flames
I saw my defenses
Washed my ashes down the drain
I thought mercy was a stranger
But you called me out by name
Oh the wonderful blood of Jesus
Your wounds are gaping open
Couldn’t recognize you at first
And all I had to offer you
Was an insult or a curse
Blood dripped down like poison
On the nauseated earth
Oh the wonderful blood of Jesus
Oh the wonderful blood of Jesus
This is mercy’s war
This is mercy’s war
Oh the wonderful blood of Jesus

You can have Los Angeles, but give me back my girl!

 Inspired. Motivated. Challenged. Moved.

If only you knew how amazing tonight was. James Vincent McMorrow will leave you breathless with each soaring note. The first time he opened his mouth to sing I felt the chills. The Civil Wars were both engaging and intimate. They acted like brother and sister on stage, playing jokes on each other while performing. It was just pure vocal heaven. John Paul White can really sing, and Joy Williams has got some pipes! Next, I was off to see Fiction Family at the Bardot. It was a free show! When entering, I saw Michael Guy Chislett(?) just chilling with the bassist. He's the OG electric guitarist from Hillsong United Albums (Look To You, More than Life, Everyday). Anyway, Jon Foreman and Sean Watkins tore it up. The place was going nuts because each one of them had their own set of skills that was so unique. Jon played some new songs, but I was highly impressed with Sean's new tunes. He is a killer. He will capture you with his fast bluegrass guitar playing. UNBELIEVABLE. And what better way to end the night? A drum rampage from the Fiction Family drummer Aaron. That man always blows my mind. Darren King status.

Well that's what happened tonight folks! More to come next time...

"Oh the places you'll go!"

"But on you will go
though the weather be foul
On you will go
though your enemies prowl
On you will go
though the Hakken-Kraks howl
Onward up many
a frightening creek,
though your arms may get sore
and your sneakers may leak.

On and on you will hike
and I know you'll hike far
and face up to your problems
whatever they are.

You'll get mixed up, of course,
as you already know.
You'll get mixed up
with many strange birds as you go.
So be sure when you step.
Step with care and great tact
and remember that Life's
a Great Balancing Act.
Just never forget to be dexterous and deft.
And never mix up your right foot with your left.

And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed!
(98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)

KID, YOU'LL MOVE MOUNTAINS!

So...
be your name Buxbaum or Bixby or Bray
or Mordecai Ali Van Allen O'Shea,
you're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting.
So...get on your way!" Dr. Seuss - Oh, the Places You'll Go

I am excited to meet people who are passionate. I am hopeful to develop relationships with people who have different interest. I am ready to step out of this bubble.
